Hello,

When publishing a server farm , does isa rely on DNS or can ISA send request to the servers using IP address without DNS.

Senario ,

IP load balancer points external users to the isa box (sharepoint.test.net). Then ISA forwards to the frontend boxes with no issues. When creating the server farm i used ip address to add frontend servers. If i remove the A record in my internal DNS server for the frontend box and Add sharepoint.test.net pointting to ISA server internally ,since the server farm publishing has the ip address of the frontend servers should this work. And whats the recommended practice.
