I am looking for a reporting tool to compile reports on web proxy usage on ISA 2004. I need to be able to report selectively on groups of users according to grouping in Active Directory. It seems to me that this information is not captured in the logs. Only the username. I expect that this is not an uncommon requirement - can anyone suggest a product that will do the job? I have not found one that can do this yet, and I have looked at a lot of them...

What have you looked at so far...have you tried http://www.wavecrest.net/products/cyblock/isa/index.html

I know this is more than what you are probably looking for...but I can see the next step being that you want to control internet access.

I already use Surfcontrol for filtering and I am very happy with it - it just works.

All I want to do is set up some reports (pdf preferred) that can be mailed automatically to certain managers in the organisation containing details of any exceptional surfing habits for the users they manage. Sounds pretty standard stuff to me - why is it so hard to find a tool to do the job? None of the products looked at so far seem to integrate properly with active directory.
