Hi everyone,
Is it normal that securenot clients can not browse the web unless they are also web proxy clients ?

Hi Crashadder

No its not normal - SNAT clients should be able to browse the Internet as long as they can resolve public DNS names (i.e. your internal DNS has forward lookups to Internet DNS servers (reccommended) or your clients are configured to use Internet DNS servers directly). You'll need access rules to allow DNS requests from SNAT clients or your internal DNS servers. You also need to make sure that your SNAT clients have either the ISA server as their default gateway or your network routes requests for external internet IP addresses via the ISA server.

However i have a problem at the moment with SNAT clients having trouble accessing certain web pages (see previous post) which is something to do with the web proxy filter but I haven't got any further with it yet!

HTH
Steve
