Hi all

I have set up SNAT and auto dial-out for broadband connection successfully for one of my clients.

My question is "auto dial-out in ISA is too fast" which causes a bit of problem for our microtik server (software router).

Does anyone know how to set auto dial-out time in ISA to specify time such as 10s or 15s after losing connection with the server.

Please, help ... many thanks

H Q Tran - Andy.

Hi Andy,

What do you mean by "auto dial out time"? Autodial is automatic when you configure the dial-up entry as primary for the Web Routing Rule and firewall chaining config.

Hi

That's the one, I set up SNAT and route local IPs through broadband connection.

Every time, a client pc request access online. ISA server will dial up broadband connection automatically or in case of connection lost. The problem is that ISA auto-dials very fast. I would like to set a specific dial out time to as 10s or 15s.

... many thanks........

Hi HQ,

I'm not aware of any method to create a delay in the DUN dial up latency. That's definitely one for PSS! [Big Grin]

Hi all
I read article with this title Installing ISA Server on a Domain Controller.
and configured own server like it and in network configuration selected 'use a dial-up entry' and 'use a dial-up entry for primary route' but I have problem.
My connection to internet is from dialup connection.
In client I set only local DNS server (configured for resolve local domain and forward for external address request).
When client request the page modem auto dial not work but when manually connect to internet by dialup connection client can browse the internet.
System work properly.
Note: in test of local DNS server recursive query failed.
Why this problem appears and how can solve it?
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.
