hello everyone,
i know i am really in a hurry in this, but i am in a situation where i have to,

i've been given a HP server with MS windows server 2003 R2 and ISA 2006,
i am assigned a task to create and enable VPN connections within 48 hours and i've spent 24 of them searching every where for a step by step configuration and i couldn't find any,

i need a very detailed step by step configuration for client access VPN,
all i am asking is any link anywhere where it could help me,

ANY ONE?!
appreciate every one's help

There are several articles on this site on how to create a remote access VPN connection to the ISA Firewall. Check it out!

HTH,
Tom

Thank you tarek, as i assume your name,

i was able to configure the ISA server and i was able to connect to the network from my phone but i was not able to connect to the network from a dailup connection,

i used PPTP only to be allowed, nothing else, i asked my Network Eng. to help me on the project we were able to bring it up but i was not able to connect to it except from the phone.

In what scenarios were you not able to connect?

Thanks!
Tom

When the ISA Firewall is installed, RRAS is automatically enabled. However, you must not use the RRAS console, you need to use only the ISA Firewall console to configure the VPN.

Can you start the service from the Services console?

Tom
