I have an issue in witch i can not use the proxy client directly (long story). now i'm searching for a work around like myproxy:8080/htpp://www.google.com to force the application to shoot the request into the proxy as if it is IE using the proxy client..

Problem is, i can't resovle the ip address (not by a long shot) of the websites the application tries to reach. The application can not use the proxy client.

I know this is an odd question, but does anyone know if this is possible?

Set the browsers for autoconfiguration and create Wpad entries in DHCP and/or DNS.
