wow disconnecting

i created a rule to let port 3724 or whatever wow uses, allow inboud and outbound for all users, and it seems to work, well ive watched it connect on the logging page but it seems every 12 minutes i get disconnected, and the log shows it to, the connection blizzard games gets disconected, protocol (my World of Warcraft setting name), every 12 minutes,
ive bypassed the firewall and connected straight to my modem and didnt have this problem, so its got to be my firewall rule or something
Q: is there a timeout for connections, or a maximum time, cause it seems to be almost exactly the same amount of time in between connecting and disconnecting every time.
Q: does the firewall stop some packets from reaching, enough to make the game disconnect for to many lost packets?
has anyone else had this problem?
