Hello,

I have a problem with link conversion in combination with German "Umlaute" like S,÷,n.

When I enter a site like http://www.mnller.de/
I have no problem because I already disabled "Block highbit characters" in HTTP protocol configuration.

But in case I try to open i.e.
The link not working can directly be reached by going toAlternate
and then selecting Hardware and then "GehSuse" on the left menu
Link not working

I get the following error:Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The parameter is incorrect. (87)
IP Address: 192.168.0.3
Date: 03.12.2004 14:32:41
Server: serv-dee-isa.daewoo.de
Source: web filter

I have no idea what happens here even if I disable the use of the Web Proxy filter for HTTP nothing changes.

I¦m running ISA2004 Standard (English version) on a Win2003 machine (fully patched) with Germany as the default region.
ISA2004 is the backend FW with a linux based Front Firewall without any proxy configuration.
With ISA2000 it worked in the same combination without problems (both 2000 and ISA 2000 English versions)
ISA 2000 gives back exactly the same link (just verified) and displays the page correctly.

Only difference in setup is that I do not use Firewall client for ISA 2000 but also when I exit FWC it also happens for WebProxy client only

Any ideas are greatly appreciated "[Smile]"

strangely ,

http://www1.alternate.de/%F9

works... ?

and

http://www1.alternate.de/%F5

doesn't..
I get same error as you. Probably ISA only filters certain content.

Can't help you with this problem.
